    Jacket pattern 5029

    Greetings all,
After scouring Ebay and a few other places and making calls to my local JoAnn's fabric I am stumped finding a jacket pattern. Threads have been written here in prior years so I may be SOL finding one now. It is the Simplicity 5029 Kilt and Jacket pattern from Circa about 2004. I need the L-XL pattern. There are S-Med out there but I wear large to Xlarge. If anyone has one they no longer need or want please PM me. Ill be glad to take it off your hands and pay postal and all. Thanks in advance.

Need it mostly to make the jacket.

You may need to do what I did. After a long, fruitless search for that exact same pattern, I got a sport jacket and vest pattern. It can be modified for hemline, cuffs and epualets.

Thank you, yes I may have to. Thought Id try here first. Vest will be easy and I may look at a few jaccket patterns including Victorian styke. Again many thanks.

Take a look at Burda 8186. It is for a three-piece suit. The vest neck is cut rather high, as is the jacket collar. It is not exactly Victorian, but certainly gives a nod in that direction. I'm just starting an Argyll jacket and vest based on this pattern in very tight dark grey herringbone.
