PSA: PV MacInnes tartan yardage sighted
I figure the DIY section would be a good place to post this "public service announcement", but if it belongs elsewhere I'm sure the mods will move it along.
Anyway, I was at New England Fabrics in Keene, NH last weekend and was surprised to come across a bolt of what I'm pretty sure is MacInnes tartan, modern colors in polyviscose:

There was no info that I could see about fiber content, but it sure felt like PV or some kind of synthetic blend. I asked someone about it and they didn't know, but concurred that it was probably PV. The bolt was double-width (58-60") and it seemed like there was at least a few yards left on it... the price? $12.95 per yard, which is a pretty good deal. I reluctantly passed it up because I've already got too large of a stash of tartan, too deep of a backlog of projects, and no known MacInnes ancestors. But I figured I'd let the rabble know; it has a nice sturdy hand and would definitely be suitable for kiltmaking. I have no affiliation with the store other than being a customer.
(This is the first time I've come across any kind of tartan there. Goes to show that it's always worth keeping an eye out, especially at independent stores!)
