    X-Kilt pattern

Where does one find the X-kilt pattern? I don't really sew much. I took a costume class in college some eons ago. I'd like to try my hand at making a kilt for myself. I thought I'd try the x-kilt before buying Barb's book.

A link to the X Kilt manual is available as a sticky thread in the DIY Showroom section of the forum.

Be aware that it's a sewing manual, not a "pattern" like what's produced by Butterick, McCalls or Vogue patterns. It's written for guys who know how to draw lines on plywood and cut out shapes with a saw, but have no idea what a "seam allowance" is.

I've done very little in the way of sewing. I took a costume class eons ago in college. As an auditorium manager at a local high school, I'm far more comfortable with plywood and 2x4's than with the sewing machine. Thanks for the plans.
