God created the world then he created the kilt.
He didn't know what to do with it so he created creature after creature but none would fit. So he created woman.
No that is still not right he thought. So he created MAN.
Perfect, I should have thought of that in the first place. Create MAN in my own image.
What I have created cannot be un-done so you will have to live with the rest. Go forth and multiply he said and placed them in the garden of eden.
The devil was watching all this and thought "I'm having none of this, I will make man in MY IMAGE!" and swapped man and woman over so the woman was wearing a skirt and man was wearing trousers.
Ha! Ha! he said and what is done cannot be un-done and they were cast out of the garden of eden to live a life of struggle and hardship.

So it just goes to prove.... THE DEVIL WEARS TROUSERS!
