Computer Error
I was having trouble with my computer so I called Harold the computer guy, to come over.
Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call.
As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?"
He replied, "It was an ID ten "T" error."
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired: "An ID ten "T" error? What's that .... in case I need to fix it again?"
The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten "T" error before?"
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "and you will never forget it."
So I wrote out ...
I D 1 0 T
I used to like Harold...

I will have to add that to my repertoire... of two jokes... which means I will have to "delete" one!

I was a computer Bloke for a short time after I felt like branching out from what I was doing before. Came across that very error quite often. It inspired me to branch out again. I'm not a computer Bloke anymore.

We use that term in my job fairly often (network engineering.)
Then there are those times when there's a "disconnect between the chair and the keyboard".

Also known as a PEBCAK Error (Problem Exists Between Chair and Keyboard).

It's very similar to an EEBCK issue...
EEBCK = Error Exists Between Chair and Keyboard
In both situations, the best option is to Reboot User.
If the problem returns, the installation of a new user is highly recommended.

Or, in layman's terms, "internet thrombosis"--------a clot on the keys.
