    Cousin Eddie...

In the 'National Lampoon's Vacation' universe, ever wonder how Cousin Eddie (husband of Catherine, Ellen's cousin) would make an outfit? I'm thinking his signature white slip-ons with black socks for sure, porcupine or possum fur sporran, the turtleneck dickey....

Don't forget the ear flaps on the Balmoral and beer in the pocket of his jacket.

Don't laugh, but I wear my tweed Balmoral-ish bonnets (polarfleece-lined) around here all winter and I've been seriously considering making one with fold-out ear flaps. Anybody who lives around here can understand the need, and even though they may look a bit goofy, I figure they will still be more stylish than the Elmer Fudd hats that everybody else is wearing.

Don't know..... I look pretty goofy in bill-caps anyway. One with a bill on each end might look twice as goofy, and one with a bill on each end and ear flaps might look three times as goofy.
