    Free! $1000 Victorian sporran!

Made from the same fur that graced the court of Queen Victoria, I present to you--

    The Nemo

Originally owned by a crazy young woman who paid $1000 for it, my wife rescued it from her clutches and brought it home. I simply have no use for it anymore, and would like to find it a good home.

Despite its small size, you'll find it has a tremendous carrying capacity. In fact, you might just find yourself spending insane amounts of money just to keep it filled. It even has an additional space right behind its eyes that could be used for smaller items, as said space is completely empty!

I would not recommend carrying liquids in this sporran, since any liquid you put in seems to find its way onto your rug.

I will warn potential owners that the fur seems to be falling out, since you will find copious amounts upon anything it touches, although no bare spots have appeared on the sporran itself.

Two things which make this sporran truly unique: instead of the gentle tap, tap, tap one often hears from traditional sporrans, this item makes sharp, unpleasant rasping sounds whenever anyone comes near. Great for securing your valuables! Also, if you have a pet in the house, be it canine or feline, never again will you need to clean up their bodily messes. One word--coprophagia!

If you're interested, please PM me. Quickly. Before my wife gets home.

I really like the sporran, but the matching tie and hose are a little too much

(great post LT, you are quite creative!)

Wonderful. Unfortunately mine is over 60lbs and would hurt my back. Holds a lot though!

You beat me to it. I have a "full mask" (and whole body) 3.5 lbs "Poodle Dress Sporran" -- all white -- that meets every one of the characteristics of yours. I also have a 150 lbs all white Pyrenees one too but I think he could wear me

Post a pic here! I'd recommend using a harness...no need to strangle the poor critter.

The green band around him is a piece of cloth that we've tied around him to mitigate his wanton incontinence. No medical reason--he just likes to pee in the house. Also serves to keep this thread from violating decency standards: He tends to get...enthusiastic at inappropriate times.

No tartan for the wee lad?

I have to admit, I thought maybe a nice mustard rather than the green to go with your flashes would be better....

Had I taken the picture a few hours later, it would have been significantly yellower.

I have some tartan fabric scraps that would have gone around him, but that's, you know, way too matchy-matchy.
