Helicopter/Helo/Chopper
My dad, a 15 year USAF vet, told me this one:
What does the Air Force call a helicopter?
A helicopter.
What does the Army call a helicopter?
A chopper.
What does the Navy call a helicopter?
A helo.
What does a Marine call a helicopter?
Nothing. He just points at it and goes "Ungh! Ungh ungh!"
Jimbo
"No howling in the building!"

Worked with a bunch or marines at one time. They spent a lot of time pointing and grunting. Lots of inter-service rivalry, but...
Let an interloper come between and watch the place get turned to rubble. Kinda like a family squabble. Ma and pa will have at each other, but if an outsider steps in they gang up one them.
I believe it was Elanor Roosevelt that said "The United States Marines have the lowest morals, highest morale, cleanest bodies and filthiest minds of any men I have ever met. Thank God for the the U.S.M.C."
But I'd still not let one wrench on a jet without adult supervision.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

Hey! We do just fine wrenching on jets! Jets are weapons! We like weapons! We treat weapons real good! (Geoff scratches and belches)

And I second the comment on Corpsmen - after good-looking blonde ladies who like kilt-wearing men, corpsmen are my favorite people.

Wanna REALLY mess up some Army folks? Hand them over to a fresh loo who went to OCS after a stint in the Marines.
Single-service folks don't understand this, but not everybody calls orders on the same cadence when marching. Poor guy would get under stress and revert to Marine cadence and the platoon would look like the Keystone Kops trying to get out of the station.

Military Academy, OCS, and ROTC
There are differences between officers based on how the got their commission, one of the academies (West Point or Annapolis) OCS, or ROTC. This difference is best described by example. Given the mission of taking a hill:
OCS officer - "Men, follow me up the hill!"
Academy officer - "Sgt, take the men up the hill"
ROTC officer - (Looks around frantically) "What hill?"

I spent 8 years in the Navy, jumping out of perfectly air worthly helicopters> I referred to them as giant, slow flying targets

I know this was meant as a joke, but a number of the ROTC cadets I taught in my military history classes last fall and this spring had prior service as enlisted personnel in Iraq & Afghanistan. One of them was born in Mexico, and had become an American citizen before serving overseas.
The cadets as a rule were great students, and speaking as a civilian, it was an honor for me to hopefully give them an appreciation for the proud history of the US Armed Forces.
I didn't mean to be pedantic or a "kill-joy" -- just wanted to say some good things about "my" cadets.

CajunScot, this is due to the shift in society, and it's a good thing I think. Used to be that a man (or woman) would do their stint and go back to civilian life for good. More and more we are seeing folks get out of an enlistment, go to school on the MGIB and return as officers with a previous military history. Good for them and even better for the military. The best officers I had the pleasure of serving under were BOOST and OCS. Not to say all the Academy grads were bad seed, but seldom would you find a rotten apple amongst previous enlisted.
And now back to humor:
How to secure a room.
Army - Post a guard
Navy - Put a lock on it
Marines - Shoot it full of holes and toss a grenade inside
Air Force - Sign a six month lease
