As I was exiting the parking garage on my way to the office this morning, a younger gentleman was entering. Here is the exchange we had. Him: Hey, is that a kilt?! Me: Indeed! Him: Is that for some club? Me: Perhaps, if there were a club for comfortable men. Him: Are you wearing underwear? Me: Ask your girlfriend. He really got a kick out of my responses. We both chuckled and went our separate ways. It may be relevant to note that I work at a University and I've been told that I look young for my age. This may help explain the 'club' inquiry.
Wow. I'm glad he had a sense of humor about it.

It is one that I have come across on these forums before.
Great response. Of course, readings your audience is key to proper delivery. My wife just told me she is thinking of getting me a T-shirt for father's day that says "the only thing worn under my kilt is lipstick". I chuckled a bit. It reminded me of this thread (and a couple others), but I'll have to get a picture of us with me in that and her wearing her "official kilt inspector" t-shirt.
ST, that would be an hillarious T-shirt! I have been playing with a design that includes my avatar and the phrase "Are your hands cold?" My SO loves the idea and we'll definitely get pics up once everything is finalized.
For Christmas & Annversary, I got my wife a shirt that states: I wear the pants in this relationship. Thank you, USA Kilts.
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.
