One story for my upcoming book

First, moderators this is not a solicitation but a short story as to something that happened on Saturday while wearing the Kilt.

On Saturday, a day when I have mostly gone into my work for the day, kilted, a humorous event happened.

I had arrived at my work at the big box hardware store when an event happened which set the humorous tone for the rest of the day. I had walked onto the floor of work, doing my normal assisting customers when a gentleman approached me holding what appeared to be product in his hand. I could tell he needed assistance, and as he stepped up to ask his question he scanned up me noting I was kilted. Holding a few bolts out in his hand he inquired " Do you know where your nuts are?". Suddenly an expression came over his face, a one that showed he had realized what he had just said, and a startled look came upon his face, before I could answer. I simply smiled, put both hands on my hips in a knowing manner, and responded, " Sir, it takes a bold man to ask a Kilted man where his nuts are, and yes sir I DO know where they are, thank you..." . The gentleman broke into such laughter that he started crying, all the while apologizing between his chuckles. I consoled him sharing that I had heard much worse, and that it was fine, all the while taking him to the aisle that contained his needed items. Another humorous story to start my day.

Just had a few looks from the other coffee shop patrons whom are no doubt wondering what I was laughing at and still chuckle about as I post.

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Not knowing exactly where you are located, Hawk, would lead to the question of which standard said same nuts were measured to, metric or standard!
