Scottish comedian Rikki Fulton
Memories of my youth were brought back when I stumbled across some of the sketches by the late Rikki Fulton. A selection can be found, introduced by a kilted Rikki, at

Among my favorites are his introduction to a song [which, unfortunately, we don't get to hear] about the Glencoe massacre.

There is also a most amusing about a delayed train.

It has to be remembered [I had forgotten] that a (now disgraced) celebrity appeared in British Rail advertisements, with the caption "This is the age of the train."
For those who don't have detailed knowledge of the geography of the Clyde Coast, the journey from Ardrossan to Glasgow would normally take about 45 minutes.
I might risk offending against Rule 5 if I provided a link to Rikki's sketches featuring the Rev. I.M. Jolly.
I hope this will bring back some memories to other members.
