    Scottish Lorry

Scottish Lorry. Or should I say "Tartan Truck"?

As they carry whisky in bulk, we know them as the "whisky express".

Nice looking truck except for it being a cab-over.

Do they get a police escort with that precious cargo?
Nick you'll find over there that cab over is the norm, they don't use big snoutted trucks like we have on this side of the pond

I belong to a long heritage of "Teamsters" (truck drivers). The complete rig is called a "Tanker truck" (regardless of the tractor shape or its contents). It is only natural that this rig be called a "tank" like a heavy weight kilt.
Keep the cargo safe ye Lorry men and women.

The truck appears to be traveling easterly. I suppose because, "to the west, there is nothing. Except America."

Am I the only one struck by the extraordinary lighting setup? That rig is worthy of a rally car! Why on earth would it be needed on a road-going vehicle?
