I am no good at doing the embedding bit myself alas.

But it appears to be better off in Craig's Corner so moving it there.

EDIT: I got it to open correctly in a new tab or window at least. Certainly a pleasant diversion, though I don't speak the talk well enough to have gotten all the jokes.

This sketch was from "Burnistoun" a critically acclaimed sketch show for BBC Scotland by the Scottish comedians Iain Connell and Robert Florence and was set in a fictional Scottish town of the same name. The vast majority of the spoken word was in the "Patter" or as it is more commonly refered to "Glaswegian" as such it was often dificult for a lot of people to understand but hilarious non the less. However this sketch does have some truth in it, just ask any Scot who has tried speech recognition software.

It's on Youtube multiple times, and at least one of them has a transcript for the Glaswegian-impaired ear.

Just saw this today. I was laughing so hard my wife came over and sat on the arm of the chair and asked me to start the video over. By the time this skit was done I was laughing so hard I was blowing my nose and my stomach hurt, so did hers! Thanks for one of the heartiest laughs we have had in a long time. Tony, you just added 7 years to our lives.
