Cotton or a blend for hot weather?
Would cotton or some sort of poly or rayon or ???? blend be best for a tartan skirt in hot weather?
Silk would be awesome, but too expensive.
Thanks!

Well if you are taking about KILTs then I go with a polyviscose kilt in hotter weather.

Being female, I'm looking to make a SKIRT, not a kilt.
www.dictionary.com has no definition for 'polyviscose'. What is it?

My wife loves madras dresses and skirts in the summer. Of course these are not in MacLean tartan, but that doesn't bother her! She also has a skirt made of cotton in MacLean Hunting tartan. She doesn't get a whole lot of use out of that skirt, for some reason.
