First of all, welcome to the Forum, you will find a host of useful information across its many pages.
Your question is actually not about kilts per se but about tartan and as such would be better posted in the Tartan Place section. Mods - suggest it is moved there.
There is not a Dunnyveg tartan in its own right. This was discussed in passing in this thread which you may find of interest. The options and recommendations discussed there would be equally approriate to your enqiiry.

im abit confused ,but what clan will i be in,
story goes:
Father: Angus MacDonald, 8th of Dunnyveg
mother:Katherine, daughter of Duncan Campbell of Danna
son: Angus Og Macdonald
i assume you take the clan name after the man?.
wich means that i may wear a tartan from clan donald or is it Lord of the isles. Dunnyveg is an armigerous clan tho.
Although Dunnyveg(and the glens) have a diffrent Crest then clan donald.

In Scotland, in general, it is usual for one to follow the paternal line; i.e. male descent.
As the Dunnyveg sept don't have their own tartan it is really up to you what you want to wear. The most logical choice would be for you to choose either Clan Donald (MacDonald) or one of the MacDonald of Isles tartans.
