    It's a personal tartan by and for Dirk Kriche - Krichel, D. I assume that the wear was therefore him.

    Looks a heck of a lot like Kilt Society's Persevere Weathered Brown tartan to me.

    Interesting - Kilt Society was set up by Eagle & Fox a small family business run by Emma & Fergus MacDonald. They have a house tartan - Persevere Flint Grey - designed for them by Lochcarron and registered in 2017 - details here: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...ails?ref=11916

    The Persevere Weathered Brown and another of their house tartans Persevere Thistle Blue are clearly the same set in different colours.

    The Krichel, Dirk tartan does look strikingly similar to the Persevere Weathered Brown - and is dated at least a couple of years after the Persevere Flint Grey was registered. Perhaps comparing the thread counts can shed some more light on how similar these tartans are.
