I'm looking to buy a new kilt and like the look of this one. I'd be ever so grateful if someone could identify it for me. Cheers, Simon
At first glance it looks like the Crawford tartan ith:
No, definitely not Crawford, look at the pale double stripe on the red and the blue/black. It's a little like MacLean but it's not. Something modern me thinks but the poor quality of the image makes it difficult to tell the colours and order.

That's what I get for trying to get my eyes to focus before finishing that first pot of tea in the morning. ith: Edit: A little bird has informed me that it is Wilson (muted).

Yep, I'd go with that.

Thanks for the help guys, think it'll go near the top of my want list along with the muted red MacPherson.
It's definitely not a pretty picture but the vibrant tartan really caught my eye. Can anyone help me out and identify it? Thanks a lot, Simon
Off the top, I'd say Carnegie, Muted or Weathered. But, there doesn't seem to be the scarlet 'MacDonald Motif' in the blue overcheck. Perhaps that is just the size of the exposure Somebody weigh-in? Domehead
