To celebrate their anniversary, my local family drop in is producing a quilt. I'd like to contribute something which is unique to our family's contribution to the community. I'm looking for some tartan scraps. I only need seven, nice pieces but they should all be different tartans and at least 3" on each side. More pieces just means more of the quilt can be tartan. Spring weight would be ideal, but light weight might do. If you have any on hand to spare please let me know and I'd be happy to PayPal you the mailing charges. http://www.mpfamilycentre.ca/home.htm X
3" is pretty small. You won't even be able to see the pattern. I have a scrap of Reproduction Colquhoun that I could part with that is plenty large for your purposes, but it's heavy weight (15 to 16 oz). Is that too heavy?
Are you looking for wool only or would polyester/viscus (P/V) be acceptable?
Is there a time frame you need it?
Tobus; HW is too heavy, thanks though. Friday; PV might still be a bit too heavy. BLHS209; ASAP. The unveiling is in October I think.
