    No, he gave up that business years ago. In fact, he gave it up so completely that he moved to a different state for a little while, where he met my grandmother. He got a job at a creamery, and she was keeping house for some wealthy folks, and when he delivered the milk, and she received it, they both liked the other so much that they married each other a few months later and lo and behold, here I am. Her father was a Lockhart and her mother was a half-Cherokee Thompson.
