    What's this tartan?

    I was sent this for identification. Apparently it had been used to wrap a curling stone. Anyone hazzard a guess? I should add that I do know the answer already.

    My guess would be..

    it looks like the weathered variant of the ancient MacTattered tartan.
    The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
    He kens na where the wind comes frae, But he kens fine where its goin'.
