White Tartans
So as not to hijack another thread, I was looking at Riverkilt wearing his striking Antarctica Tartan kilt, and I wondered if there were any other tartans that have a white "base"?

There are many "dress" tartans that have a white base, usually the white has replaced another colour on the more tradtional named tartans.
Also there are a large number of Dancer's tartans which include a lot of white, but some may consider these only fashion tartans.
There is a current thread somewhere about "dress" tartans which makes interesting reading.
