Chief Herald of Ireland not accepting new applications for Grants of Coats of Arms

According to the FAQ the Office of the Chief Herald of Ireland isn't accepting any new applications for grants or confirmations of coats of arms. Does anyone know why that is or when they will be accepting new applications? Thank you.

In all probability the Irish Office of Arms will, in due course, recommence the process of granting arms. I would therefore suggest that Mr. Murphy's comments not be taken at face value.
