Looking for graphic file of crest outline
Does anyone know where I might find a copy of the outside "belt" that goes around the clan crests? I can re-make it in Illustrator, but if someone has one or knows where I can get it, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

This one isn't particularly detailed, but it's the best vector I've found so far:

Wasn't there some brouhaha about that design being copyrighted by someone?

Possibly, so this one might work better:

Public domain - and better quality, to boot.

I emailed an Adobe Illustrator file of a garter and buckle to the email address listed on your profile page.
Hope it will help!

The difference between the strap and buckle and the Garter, is that the Garter is "tucked through itself" (ie: it is knotted), while the strap is merely folded over.
(I think you'd have better luck moving this to the Heraldry Section, btw)

Thanks for the responses! I'm getting the COA engraved on the dirk and the crest on the sgain dubh for his groom gift for our wedding this summer, but since both are impossible to find, I've got to re-make them for the engraver.

How do I move it?

I would like to thank the people who corrected me on the COA use. I'll only be putting the crest on his gifts.
Greatly appreciated!
