Any MacDonalds/MacDonnells septs out there in Canada?

Clan Donald Canada is not doing so well in terms of cross country representation. There is no presence West of Glengarry Ontario. I'd be interested in getting a GTA group together, but would encourage some of you dedicated kilted MacDonalds to get involved.

Regardless of whether you're a MacDonald of Clanranald, MacDonnell of Keppoch, MacDonald of Sleat, Antrim, Glengarry, Glencoe... all of these clans have united under the High Council of Clan Donald Chiefs.

The clan societies are aging and although Nova Scotia and Glengarry still in the mix, the rest of Canada is not really making things happen... we aren't present at Highland Games and we should be given how many MacDonalds and associated septs there are...

Would you be willing to get involved?

    Hello Nathan,
PEI has a population of about 140,000 and the most common name in the phone book is MacDonald so there's no shortage of them. I'm of a different clan myself but I'll pass the word to the many I know.

Met a piper at the Robbie Burns in Sudbury 2013. When I meet him again do you want an intro?
