Upper East Tennessee Celtic Society Tribute
Lu Gordon, the National Convener for House of Gordon USA, passed away this past Sunday evening after a short illness. Lu was highly involved with various Scottish and Celtic events throughout her life, attending ans convening at Grandfather Mountain countless times. Most recently, Lu has been the President of the Upper East Tennessee Celtic Society.
As a fellow board member with Lu, I've gotten to know her and always enjoyed being around her and her friendly personality. Having learned of her death just this evening, after her daughter called another of our board members, my heart is broken and all of my thoughts and prayers go out to the Gordons in this time of grief. I figured I'd share the news here on Xmarks on the chance someone which knew Lu from her years of activity in "our community".
