The last website is Freecen - all the censuses - including Scotland.

The 1881 census has been available for some time through the Mormon website. These people are recording 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891.

The records are at the moment a bit patchy. Searching my wife's side, I found 190 McLeods in 1841, but none in any subsequent years, no matter how I spelled it. Did they all die out in those 10 years? No, the other data has not yet been transcribed.

So the best bet is to check every couple of weeks to see if anything has been added.

One tip, enter the surname and choose the sex (don't choose 'either'). This cuts the search down by half. By clicking on an entry you get the whole household anyway, so it makes no difference.
