History of the Feuds and Conflicts among the Clans
Although not directly Genealogy, this book should interest those who are interested in Clans and Clan encounters. A re-released book from 1780, A rare pre Victorian un-romatisised account of "The History of the Feuds and Conflicts among the Clans in the Northern parts of Scotland and in the Western Isles from the year 1031 to 1619".

Indeed, that does look interesting. Thanks for sharing the re-release information.

The history of one's family is a good way to figure out why and how you came to your present circumstance. My family is plastered all over these pages but in retrospect, those times are past and a new future is nigh. This forum documents the clan men and women of the future. Let's make history.

This book has been published before, in the US, by SCOTPRESS, and for a lot less money. You might contact them to see if copies are still available. It is pretty interesting and covers some obscure history.

True it was published in paperback in 1983 and the cheapest one I could find was $15.50 for a second hand copy and one new paperback at $123. - http://bit.ly/1JR2ghU
So, I dont think the Armorial Register new hardback copy is bad at £24.99.

Would this thread about a book not fit better in our "Library" section?
