Here's what I found so far; Andrew Austin (b. 1799-1888) married Louisianna Bryant (b. 1804-1875) dughter, Nancy Austin (date of birth not given on this register) Andrew was a son of Bartholemew Austin and Ann Reeves Bartholemew Austin (b. February 18, 1768) Ann Reeves Austin (b. January 12, 1775 d. 1870) Was listed as Cumberland, Virginia (original territory) now Kentucky. Ann Reeves Austin was the daughter of George Reeves (b. 1735-1811) Ann Reeves Austin was the daughter of Jane Burton (b. 1744-1811) Thomas Reeves (b. 1711) was the father of George Reeves Richard Burton (ndg) was the father of Jane Burton Conah's Quah, Wales-Carolina Territory(North Carolina) 1622 This might be your Nancy. I'll keep looking through the other papers and see what I come up with for you.
I did a little looking around last night. It seems that the name Connah's Quay did not come to use until around the 1860s. It's a port city, so therefore, may have been simply a point of departure. Now to find the name from around 1622. 1622 is, so far, the earliest date of my Austin line leaving from there. And how the initial researcher has the name Connah's Quay is beyond me.
Since there isn't much information given regarding Nancy (birth/marriage/etc), I can't tell if the one you listed would be my g-g grandmother. I've not had a chance to focus too much on this line yet, but I had planned to see if P.W. (I wonder if it would be Phillip West, as a quick search has revealed his name to supposedly be) Austin and Sally Gilbert I was given by another researcher are her parents. Thank you for checking, and best wishes.
