Gideon Scott May
The Kilt For Keeps.
Available all over the place in various conditions. 'S got "kilt" in the title -- though it's more a memoir. May's having fun telling anecdotes... his first ever kilt at a very young single-digit age, his RAF squadmates in WW2 making fun of his more-Lowland-than-Highland speech ("Arr, this is the Rrrroyal Airrrr Forrrce, ye ken..."), the butterfly tattoo he got on his... well, what's under the kilt in his case is a butterfly.
I see he wrote some other stuff too. He still among the living?
