    The Scottish Companion

    This was another of my grandmother's books. It was originally published in 1955, but I'm not sure if this one is from that year or later, I can't find any specific reference to an edition year. For a fairly slim volume, it has a wonderful variety of subject as you can see from the contents page. It has great black and white photos as well as nice pen and ink illustrations - some moody, some humorous. A few pictures to follow...
