Quaich in the Canyonlands of Arizona
As mentioned, the Quaich arrived secure and very well packaged from Canada. Upon arrival I was down with a cold...seems everyone in town had it...work has presented intense demands....all the beautiful scenery on government land in the area is closed down tight....and the only other kiltie in town has gone to pants for the winter.
But yesterday I got out kilted to the local Oktoberfest at the city park. Plenty of bikers - sponsored by the local motorcycle club - but no kilties. One of the vendors sold little girls ballet dresses (go figure) and one of the stands had a perfect resting place for the Quaich so took this photo.
Here's a pic of the keg roll contest. They roll an empty keg with their front tire...one who goes farthest wins.
