Steampunk
Before I discovered the kilt, I preferred Victorian style clothing, though I had to adapt for the heat and it tended to have a wild west look, minus the weaponry. Has anyone a steampunk fan and managed to do a kilted version?

I seem to recall that Steve Ashton(the owner of this website)put up some kilted pictures of himself at some steampunk do. Just had a ferret about and found this:-
A brace of steampunks.

This was a couple of years ago but I've lost 6 stone since then and had to have it all taken in.

Jock this description is as good as any
Steampunk is an inspired movement of creativity and imagination. With a backdrop of either Victorian England or America’s Wild West at hand, modern technologies are re-imagined and realized as elaborate works of art, fashion, and mechanics. If Jules Verne or H.G. Wells were writing their science fiction today, it would be considered “steampunk.”

Grizzy put it better than I could have done. Imagine the modern is a world without electricity, everything powered by steam or clockwork. Sort of neo Victorian. There is a genre of books but Jules Verne is Steampunks Elvis.

Though not an XMTS advertiser, Kilt This is somewhat steampunk inspired.

All that, is a bit far out for this rather basic thinker, I am afraid!

Not by any means wishing to offend, but perhaps the bigger question is "why"?

well, that comes from poor judgement."
