Yet another dirk!

I recently finished a dirk for a friend and thought I’d post up a few pictures. Blade is 5160, handle is walnut, and the furniture is brass. I had a really tough time with this one. The fella wanted a plain slim handle with no carving. Hope he likes it!

Looks like a fine blade!

I don't like the button on the scabbard, but that's just me. Much prefer a friction fit into a frog, and or a bent wire loop on the back of the scabbard for a hanger. But Im not the customer!

Nicely done. Personally, I like your take on the scabbard—kind of a Mexican loop design with the stud as a stop to keep the body from sinking farther down with the dirk in place. Simple and strong.
