2009 Japan Scottish Highland Games - Oct 4th

Hard to believe that the St. Andrews Society of Tokyo and Yokohama has been running this event for 27 years. Wow!

Anyway, just to let everyone know about the event, just in case you happen to find yourself in the greater Tokyo area on October 4th and are in want of something to do. (The photos and write-up from last year's event is still up on XMTS somewhere)...

I will be there with my crew from Kofu, Yamanashi (just like last year). So please send me a PM if you'll happen to be in town and want to meet up at the games.

The event will be held rain or shine, and I will also be there rain or shine... It's an enjoyable event and I'm looking forward to it!

This is something that I'd love to be able to attend. Maybe I can time my next trip to Japan to coincide with the games. I'm overdue for another trip over there as it is.

I've been to Japan twice so far, and absolutely love it. I still hold out hope that I can live there for a few years at some point in the future. Sadly, my current employer doesn't really do business there, so it would take a career change to get me over there.
