2013 Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Festival, Colorado, September 5 - 8, 2013
I really want to go to the 2013 Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Festival. If I can figure out how to get from Grand Junction to Estes Park. Who else is going?
I am Matty Ross of the Clan ROSS

We attended last year Matty, and can recommend it highly as a great event! If possible, take in the Tatoo on Friday night, and don't miss the parade on Saturday. We opted to attend Stone Mountain this year as our national event, so will not be at Longs Peak this year, but will definitely attend in the future. Be sure to save some energy (and oxygen) for hiking in those abundant little foothills that they have in the area! .
Have fun!

Makes the decision easy when one is invited not to return, huh? We don't tolerate pink shirts in Colorado.
We're heading up late Friday and will probably kick around Estes and RMNP on Saturday. Competing in the athletics on Sunday. Hopefully we can meet up, either accidentally or on purpose!

It wasn't pink....it was SALMON !!!,

We'll see how well you do without your favorite athletic supporter you gap toothed hairlip!

Pink, Salmon...that's some pretty fishy semanticalizing. That gorgeous stranger you accosted doesn't seem too sure about the color, either.
One color I do know is blue, and our state's Blue Laws dictate that unmarried men with busted hyphens are not allowed at public gatherings, no matter how many hairs they split.
And I have better-smelling athletic supporters, anyway--ones that are more accustomed to heavy lifting, you desk jockey.

Hey guys. You appear to be jibing with each other in good fun. But I have to tell you that more than one member isn't too sure.

My appologies to Matty and the rabble, my good friend from the Great State of Colorado is just that, a good friend. WE will refrain from confusing pokes and jabs on the board in the future, and save those for our next knife fight
Best Regards,
Brooke

Brooke is like my bigger, stronger, better-looking, more fashionable older (much, much older) brother, so I'm always trying and failing to land a good jab. WE are so emotionally repressed that this is how we say 'I wuv you' or, at the very least, 'I hope you're not crushed by a boulder.' I will point out that, even in a state of contrition, he managed to violate a major X Marks rule.
I hope you're never crushed by a boulder, Brooke.

Brooke, I have a sharp pair of violet pruning scissors if you would like me to remove those offending buttons from your collar.

Hahahaaa... Now this is entertaining, thanks Mac&Trog.
What brotherly love when we can openly razz each other, I like this thicker skinned camaraderie. Thanks for the first laugh of the day mates.
BTW the pink shirt looks festive and Trog is a very pretty man.
Matty, love to go unfortunately it is quite the drive.
