I have been searching around of any special celebrations on the 6th for Tartan day in the greater Phoenix area and have yet to find anything, if you find anything tell me! I want to have some reason to wear my kilt other than just to school

    Colton,
I think we'll just have to make our own celebration.
If at school that Wed then just inform everyone about the National day of Tartan and what it means.
The Prescott and Flagstaff Highland Games are coming up tho. My nephew Sean will be with our 'squad' so let me know it you are attending and we'll have a visit.
    Sean is 16.

    Found something...

I agree, I hope to spread the history about what "Tartan Day" is and why it's on the 6th of April. I was searching on the Internet and seeing if there was anything going on for tartan day in the Phoenix area and I found this-

    "Mesa, AZ
The Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band is presenting a Tartan Day Concert at 2pm on Saturday April 9th, 2016, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. The concert will also feature dancers from the Arizona Academy of Highland Dance. Proceeds benefit the educational and performance programs of the Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band, a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Tickets are $10 each, kids ages 10 and under are free, and can be purchased at the door. For information contact Dianne Nunez at (480)641-8073 or email mesacaledonian@Q.com See also Web site at Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band."

It's not exactly on Tartan Day but is a celebration because of Tartan day, I also think if you go to Tilted Kilt in your kilt on Tartan day you get a free order of Fish'n'Chips.
