Who is going?
Considering I am a 15 minutes walk from the games, I will be there several times throughout the day. I am taking a break in the afternoon to take the kids swimming. So the plan is to bring the family in the am, head home and go for a dip around 1sh and than come back at 4 for the mass pipeband at 5. I am looking forward to the whisky tasting this year.
Are you talkin' about the one on the 24th? I'm trying to convince my Dad to wear his cilt outside for the first time at the games.
Dunno about the Coquitlam games, but I'll be at the Tsawwassen games this Saturday.

There is no other place where men are expected to be in their kilts.
I have never been. I would like to meet up with some x-markers, and have set aside some time on Saturday. I really want to see the heavy sports - especially the caber toss - but I don't know when that is. So where and when should we meet?
I am going with my wife and kids in the morning, and than leaving about noon or so (maybe), but I will also be coming back around 2 or 3 to see the mass pipeband around 5 pm. What time is everyone else thinking of going?
In general, the morning works better for me, but I am flexible. In the Tsawwassen games a few weeks ago, the massed band just played one song and marched past. It took three or four minutes, and was a bit anticlimactic. Is this one likely to be any different? We need a time and a place. I don't know the site well.
If all else fails, met at the beer garden I will have my cell on me all day. Give me a call.
