Big Bend Highland games and Scottish Festival Marianna, Florida

The Big Bend Highland games will be held in Marianna Florida Oct 26th thru Oct 28th. Anybody going? Highlighted entertainment on Sunday the 28th only will be Albannach from Glasgow, Scotland. If you have never heard these folks before you are in for a treat. Great music. I am looking forward to another place to wear my kilt. See ya there?

Just over five hours. Its one hour on the other side of Tallahassee.

I'm going to talk to the wife about it, 2.5 hour drive or so. We are normally going to the games in Biloxi/Gulfport around that time so will have to see if we can find the funds to make an extra trip this year.

Dang! Didn't know Marianna had a games? Wonder if there's any connection with the old Tallahassee HG's?

We're only about 2 hours from Tallahassee, but I'm also planning on going to Stone Mountain the weekend before and might be spread a little thin. Thanks for the notice though- I'll definitely put it on my radar. Have you been before, Cecil? Look forward to hearing how it goes. I bet Albannach WILL be a good show! Probably worth the drive just for them...

Hey Wesley, I have not been there before. Most of the time we only attend events here in the state. Mostly either the north Florida games or the central Florida games. Now St Augustine is gettng into the act also. One of these days I hope to visit Stone moutain or some of the other games further north.
