My wife, daughter, and I attended the Grand Rapids, Michigan Burns Supper on Saturday. Probably about 80 people there. Good food, good company (Sammac and his wife were there from X Marks). The Grand Rapids Pipe Band played about 6 sets. Our Daughter won a knitted tote bag donated to the raffle, but not much else for our table. In fact, it seemed like the vast majority of the prizes were drawn for the other half of the room! They must have bought a lot of tickets! I donated a red rampant lion sporran for the raffle and got several nice comments. The gentleman that won it (I spoke with him afterwards) doesn't own a kilt, yet, but this may encourage him along. I gave him a card with this forum on it and recommended our advertisers. Here is a picture of the three of us. Tom
