Celtic Classic 2010 Results
There were only four bands in the field for the Celtic Classic this year, all Grade III, which was a bit disappointing, since the field is usually much larger and there is usually a Grade II contest. But, the playing was good, and the bands were down on the street behind the field (the contest has been something of a movable feast since they thankfully moved it off the athletics field a few years ago).
My knees still hurt. Is everything around there uphill both ways?
But anyway, for those who might be interested, the results of the Grade III contest were:
First - Ulster Scottish P.B. (Philadelphia, PA)
Second - MacMillan P.B. (Rockville, MD)
Third - Saffron United P.B. (Babylon, NY)
Fourth - Lehigh Valley P.B. (Bethlehem, PA)
I don't have the heavy athletics results, unfortunately, and I can't seem to find them online. I know there was talk of record heights/distances, so maybe someone more tuned into that community can chime in.
