Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival, 2015, Bethlehem, PA
Susan and I, once again, attended the Celtic Classic in Bethlehem, PA on Saturday. We had a great time appreciating the Pipe Band and Drum Major Competitions.
The entertainment was also top notch. We especially enjoyed the celtic band in Emish. Many kilted persons there; some were right on, most were casual 'American' and some really made me wonder.
Here's some photos I took; enjoy.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. I was wearing my XMTS Dandelion but didn't encounter any of our members except Rockey. USA Kilts 'festival shop' was busy, busy, busy and he had a good array of merchandise available.
OK, the last set of photos!

Our pipe band marched in the Pennsylvania State Fire Convention about an hour north of the Celtic Classic. We debated going after the parade; however, with a 4 hour drive home, adding another 1-1/2 to 2 hours to the trip was voted down.
Wish we could have made it.... I voted for the Celtic Classic and an extra hotel night.

Great photos! I recognize many of those kilts. :-)
Did you get a chance to stop by our booth and say hello? I saw the pic of Mike from Amerikilt, but didn't know if you came to the other side of the festival (by the bridge).

Rocky, my wife and I stopped at your booth a couple of times (Saturday) and I said hello but, you were quite busy (I was wearing a dandelion). I admired your tweed jackets (nice to see them in person instead of on a catalog page) and my wife bought a couple of kilt hangers (great kilt hangers at a great price).
It was great to see you so busy and I spotted a lot of people wearing your kilts.
The Celtic Classic is an outstanding event and we really had a great time there. Perhaps next year, we could arrange for an X Marks meet up at the USA Kilts booth and take a group picture.
