Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival, Bethlehem, PA
The Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was a really outstanding event; the weather was perfect, the athletes, dancers and bands were great and the beer was cold. I had a chance to meet Rocky at his, very busy, USA Kilts booth. A fellow X-Marks named, John, spotted my dandelion and stopped and chatted for a bitt. This was the first time that Susan and I have attended this event and though we live 3 hours away, we met with some relatives of mine, the Rae's (MacRae Clan) who live near the event and had a truly wonderful time. I'm sorry we missed visiting with Bonnie Heather Greene (the maker of my kilt) but, I understand that she won a medal in one of the dancing events. Congratulations Bonnie. Attached are a few odd photos that I took.

Thank you,Nile

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. OK, two more! The first includes my wife (second from left) and Caitlyn Mackenzie Frizell (Fraser Clan) (far left), the granddaughter of close friends of ours. I have no idea who the other people are; they just wanted their picture taken' with us. In the other picture is me, with my cousin's son, Joshua Rae (MacRae Clan). And... Yes we did 'Drink for Scotland' that evening.

Thank you,
Nile

Nile,
I wasn't able to attend Celtic Classic this year due to my relocation. But that's a photo of my friend John (second from left with drum) playing with Celtic United Pipes & Drums.
Glad to hear you had a good time. That's a great festival. Will try to attend next year.

Thank you for those kind words Kyle! And, Wooodsman, hopefully we will see you there next year. This was a great event and we are definitely going back next year.
The Celtic Classic has a FaceBook page on which they've posted lots of photos including all of the events winners. There's even a picture of our own, Bonnie Heather Green receiving her dancing medal. If you 'like' them, you will receive plenty of advance notice for next years event.
Thank you,
Nile
