    Chicago Highland Games - June 19 & 20, 2015

We had a pretty good showing of the Chicago Rabble last year. Who is up for the Games in Itasca this year?

I propose the same meeting place as last year in the general vicinity of The Scottish Geneology Group Tent.

    What do y'all think?

I am hopeful for Friday, and absolutely plan on Saturday. What time on which day?

Mrs. Standard and I will be there again this year. We almost certainly will not be in attendance on Friday evening, but certainly will be on Saturday. The Genealogy Tent sounds like a good meeting place. What time shall we meet up?
Also, friends of ours are bringing their highland cows again this year. If any of you didn't get to see them last year, stop by and take a look.

I'll be there Saturday. At least part of the time at the Gordon tent.

I propose our same meeting place and time as last year.

Scottish Genealogy Tent right after the Parade. Keep in mind that the actual tent may not be in the exact same place as last year.

The Chicago Scots Highland Game schedule of events is illegible on their website, so I don't know exactly when the parade will be. I think it was 12:30ish-1:00ish last year.

    Chicago Rabble,

I have an unavoidable conflict on Saturday and I have to work on Friday evening. No Chicago Highland Games for me this year. (Though I may try for Milwaukee and St. Louis)

Will someone else pick up the torch and coordinate the meetup?

I'm afraid I'll be Friday only. I'd love to head up to the Milwaukee games, though.

The Mrs. and I are still planning on attending. We'll head over toward the Genealogy tent after the parade. I'll have on my Robert Mackie green Balmoral with my X-Marks dandelion.
