Well met new member. Thanks for the link to the festival. My wife has concert tickets to see James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt that weekend. Alternately, I have a wedding party to attend where the band is named FunkAtomic.

Personally, I'd rather be on your side of the pond that weekend. Enjoy the event on my behalf. Glad to have you aboard.

We just back from Bellefontaine (near Columbus and Dublin), but we will have to come up for this festival some near year.

Thanks for the heads-up and link.

Though in California, I will be in West Virginia at that time visiting family, and I see it's less than a 3-hour drive for me to Dublin OH.

I would have to go on Sunday, because on Saturday I'll be at the Appalachian String Band Festival in Clifftop WV.

EDIT: Wow! After looking at the incredible lineup of bands, I'm going to scrap my plan of attending the Appalachian String Band Festival and go to the Dublin Irish Festival instead.

Vent du Nord is probably my favourite band, ever! To see them live is something I can't pass up. And Dervish, and Mary Black, and other Irish music legends, and Natalie MacMaster the amazing Cape Breton fiddler!

Now... do I wear kilts to an Irish Festival...
