    Edmonton

This is a question for the rabble in Edmonton. I've looked high & low on line for any information about Highland Games in Edmonton. They don't seem to have a web site. Are there any games in Edmonton to be had?

Is a List of Highland Games and Scottish festivals across Canada. If there is a Webpage associated with the Games then it also lists that.

    Cheers.

I remember attending the games in Edmonton as a child. (My aunt and grandparents live(d) there). But that was nigh on 45 years ago.

Neither of the links for Edmonton, provided in Thor271's link appear to be confirmed or current. You may want to use the 'contact' link at those sites to try and obtain up to date info.

Yeah I found that there are some links that haven't been updated for various games, yet the majority are good links.

I'm with McQueen though, fire them an email and someone should get back to you.

That's pretty much the same as I've been able to find out from looking on line myself. I was hoping someone in Edmonton would be able to let me know.

I'll now start by sending some emails and let you know what I find out.

    Update

I've managed to find a little bit of info on some Highland Games in the Edmonton area. Neither of these game have their own web site so it was just by luck that I found any mention of them at all.

First one is Fort Edmonton Park Highland Games July 9th and 10th 2011. Info can be found on the Fort Edmonton Park web site.

Second one is Ellerslie Highland Games June 26th 2011. It doesn't seem to have a web site and the little info I found implies that these game are making a return to the area.

I'm going to try and make the ones in July this year.
