I was at the Fairie festival in Glen Rock PA today. Saw so many kilts I lost count at around 30. Most were Utilikilts, while probably about 6 were tartan. I also saw more goths in one place that I believed were in the entire state. Saw hundreds of fairie wings, wiccans, an ogre, wizard, leprachaun, pirate, and many more that I can't think of now. Everyone appeared to have a great time. I sure did. If you are in the area, and haven't gone, it will be open again on Sunday.

“Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, taste the fruit, drink the drink, and resign yourself to the influences of each.” H.D. Thoreau
There is a link... http://www.fairiefestival.net/ Other than the name, I wouldn't call it scary. The "security" volunteers have adopted the Utilikilt Workman's as part of their "uniform" so there are lots of folks sporting unbifurcated garments at this event. I saw a couple of Amerikilts, too, and Utilikilt actually was a vendor here. It looked like they did a brisk business. I spent Saturday and Sunday at this Community Supported Agriculture Organic farm converted to a haven for modern day hippies and have to admit I had a blast. Great weather, good music and food, and nice people (except for the fundamentalist christians telling attendees they were damned to hell). Worth the trip from Philadelphia. Easier to get to from Baltimore, though. Great place to wear the kilt and feel at home amongst our ilk!!!
my wife is jealous......... we only have one on the west coast in oregon
