My sweetie, carolinanan117, and I will host the Clan Sinclair tent again this year. If you attend, please come by and say hello and maybe share a wee dram.

I got a call from my local ABC store yesterday. The case of Old Pulteney 12 I had them order for me back in March finally arrived. So if you come to the Games, drop by the Clan Sinclair tent for a wee dram of 'The Maritime Malt'.

Plan to be at the Celtic Jam Friday night then make my rounds to the Sinclair and Graham tents on Saturday. Maybe I can make the XMarks group photo op this time!

Avery County is not, legally, a dry county; it is, in effect, because there is nowhere to buy liquor in the county (yet), but the same legal regulations do not apply.

If any of you happen to know Samuel Machado, the North Carolina Regent for Clan Douglas which convenes at Grandfather, he was involved in a car accident a couple days ago; he suffered a major concussion, and won't be able to attend this year. Clan Douglas will still be at the Games (I may actually be filling in for him), but please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers from this accident.
