As a complete and total aside, because I'm a chauvinist oinker, the chick in the red top and black tights is a FB friend. She's flipping drop-dead *Gorgeous*. Viking stock, all of them... I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go throw in Iceland.

I would love to come and watch you. Only a two hour flight from Scotland and on my route to Canada, but I have only once landed in Iceland and spent four days there.

I got in touch with the people who run the Icelandic Highland Games, and they were very nice, but said their Heavy Events are by invitation only, so I should get a season's throwing under my belt, then contact them after Christmas with some figures and they'd see if there was a space for me next year.
