    Highland Games in Switzerland

The sixt Swiss Highland games were a success with more than 12000 visitors.
Our little family made the trip. Little Evangeline and Louise werent too exited about the competitions but there were many other things too see !
Here is Lili herself, ready to go ! ...and so were we !

The sun was out and it was going to be a nice , hot day !

Mama Chrystel and the lasses chose to discard their fancy blouses from the beginning, it was definitely too hot !

All three were wearing their Black Stuart kilts, they got quite alot of attention for a while...

There was at least five different pipe bands, all from Switzerland !

    more to come !

The first thing that caught their eyes was the inflated castle...
Notice the hose are still snow white... not for very long.

    There were many families.
Lots of fun for each and everyone.

One hour later, the kilts were discarded and the light tartan skirts put on !

    Red hair lassie !

    Swiss folk dancing !

    Nice folks.

    more to come...

It's great to see that the highland games are enjoyed around the world.

Like every Highland games , this one is no exception concerning horrible sights... beginning with horrid "of the rack" kilts.

...followed by, er, well, just see for yourselves .

I will finish with a gentle touch !

    We hope you enjoyed these!

Chystel is preparing a little film...

We are planning to go again next year without the kids and perhaps a little stand for L.C.

    Best,

    Robert
