I'll be the guy in the Kilt.
OK, I'll be in my Black Stewart USA Casual. I think that's the one my wife told me to wear.
Glad you can make it again, Livingston.
I've heard that these games are starting rival Estes Park. Should be fun.

My DW and I made it to the games. Weather report said cloudy, 30% chance of rain. When we got up there we decided to leave the hats in the car and take the rain gear. BIG Mistake. Got over to the festival site and about 45 minutes later the sun burned off all the clouds for the rest of the day. Say hello to the burned scalp.
Wore my Livingston kilt with the XMarks t-shirt. Figured that would make it easier for everyone to find me around our meeting place. Mudd, his wife and daughter came up to me at about 11:25. We had a nice little talk with them while waiting on the rest of the crew. Unfortunatly, since it was getting hot, we all decided it was time to get moving to stay cool. Didn't see the rest. We might have all ended up under the beer tent for the rest of the day

Yep. That's where my wife and daughter spent most of the last part of our visit, while I was watching the guys in the games.
It was really nice to meet you and your wife Livingston. We would have liked to chat a while longer, but you are right, it WAS getting hot. Here’s a rundown of what happened just after we parted:
Nancy (my wife) says, “Didn’t you want to get a picture of the two of you?”
Me, “That’s right! Where’d he go?”
Lizzie (my daughter) says, “I see them. Right over there.”
Me, “OK. You keep an eye on them and we’ll catch up.”
So, we are making our way through the large crowd and I stop for just 5 seconds (I swear) looking at some cool T-shirts.
Me, “OK, Lizzie, where are they?”
Lizzie, “Daddy, I lost them when you made us stop!”
Me, “Nuts!”
You guys must have stepped into a portal to another dimension.
Oh well, I guess we’ll have to try again at Estes Park.

And I left my camera in the car over at the high school. I looked for you later but with that crowd.......
I'll get the Estes thread going later and we can all decide where to meet.

Sorry I missed you guys: I've been out of town for most of the last month; the missus and I went Saturday instead. Watched the games, sipped some tasty beers, listened to the pipers and played with the dogs. It was a very relaxing day (just what I needed), but I wouldn't mind seeing you up at Estes Park, eh?
Bryan...probably be Saturday for Longs Peak, too: our Sundays are more for family...

We did get a bunch of pictures of the games, even though we didn’t get Livingston. Maybe I’ll have to figure out how one goes about posting pics and give it a try.
